So lets be clear on one thing.
Assault players are the frontline combat people.
The Assault dropsuit is a versatile frontline combat suit that combines excellent protection, good mobility, and sufficient versatility for mission-specific alterations.
Assault dropsuits are intended for standard combat operations or those in which objectives are likely to change at a momentGÇÖs notice. Able to carry anything from small arms and explosives to heavy anti-vehicle munitions and deployable support gear, this is the most adaptable suit on the battlefield.
Logistics players are here for support.
The Logistics dropsuit is outfitted with the latest in diagnostic technology, to help the wearer maintain the condition and efficiency of squad-mates and their equipment.
A soldier in a logistics dropsuit can greatly improve the overall effectiveness of his group, and fills a vital tactical role in small-unit operations and full-scale warfare by providing both medical and mechanical support.
Making the skill bonus make sense
Logistics bonus.
So in my opinion the logistics bonus should be, 2% efficiency to all equipment.
For example nano hives now give 10% more ammo at level 5.
Proto injectors now give 90% armour instead of 80%
Uplinks either give 10% more spawns, or 10% spawn time reduction, (probably reduction helps more)
remote explosives do 10% more damage.
Scanners get 10% more range.
Repair tools repair 10% more.
Minmatar logi bonus
Totally fine in my opinion. Hacking gives support, This is a great bonus to the Minimitar logi.
Caldari logi bonus.
Doesn't make much sense in my opinion. I know Caldari are a shield race, but it doesn't give much support to the team, like a logi would. Perhaps the caldari can have a bonus of some sort of shield based equipment if one ever arrives, but giving an extra 3% efficienty no nano hives could be nice.
Amarr Logi bonus.
Again no support to the team. Perhaps a 3% efficiency to repair tools per level.
Gallente logi.
There skill bonus is fine.
We really need to make the lines more clear on what role does what. Currently the Logistics and still more or less do everything an assault can, but with more slots, and equipment.
I'm not saying logistics need to be useless in combat, But they should be support first and foremost. |

Gives a reason for assaults to not run a logi, and gives logi's the survivability they need. Though I do like the equipment skills idea to help promote the actual support... Maybe logi gets a small damage nerf to weapons, large bonus to defense, and medium buff to equipment. medium buff to defense, large buff to support. |

They may be similar in a lot of areas, but they should still for the most part be different. |
